The Official International Showjumping Competition of Rome scheduled from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 in May will be a special edition, full of novelties also following the restoration and upgrading of the exquisitely charming venue of Piazza di Siena in Villa Borghese.

As in past editions, all sports fans who wish to enjoy the Great Equestrian competitions of the 2023 Rome CSIO live will be able to do so completely free of charge, from the ancient grandstands and also from the natural ones around the field.

It will be a long weekend of jumping excellence with ten teams in the field on Friday for the Intesa Sanpaolo Nations Cup (200,000 euros’ worth of prize money) and with the best combinations on the world scene that are expected to deliver an amazing show not to be missed in the Rolex Grand Prix Rome (€ 500,000), the closing competition on Sunday.

In addition to the oval-shaped Piazza di Siena, this year's program also features some events in the neighbouring Galoppatoio, which will host the Roman leg of the Italia Polo Challenge, an itinerant tournament circuit, staged at Villa Borghese for the fourth time; then, the traditional Carousels of San Raffaele, Lancieri di Montebello and of the 4th Carabinieri Regiment that will close the 2023 edition of this equestrian competition.
