The teams that will take part in the Intesa Sanpaolo Nations Cup, scheduled on Friday 26 May as part of the 90th CSIO di Roma - Master d'Inzeo, have been official unveiled.

Ten teams are expected to compete in Piazza di Siena and eight of these have already left their mark in the history of the prestigious Rome Nations Cup.

With the two recent victories in 2017 and 2018, Italy leads with 29 successes.

The French - winners in 2022 (ph. Sport e Salute / S.Ferraro) - have posted 22 victories in the Rome Nations Cup which dates all the way back to 1926, and they come armed with a stellar crew once again that includes Julien Epaillard, Gregory Cottard, Simon Delestre, Marc Dilasser and Kevin Staut.

Great Britain follows with 11 and Germany with 10. Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland, on the other hand, have 2 first places, while Ireland and Brazil have never won the Nations Cup at Piazza di Siena.

Team Sweden, with Von Eckermann’s relevant support, only scored two victories in the long and distinguished history of the Nations Cup at Piazza di Siena, when producing one of just two double-clears in the hard-fought team competition in 2019.

This year Von Eckermann will be joined by Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli, Jens Fredricson, Wilma Hellstrom and Evelina Tovek in the Swedish side to battle it out against Belgium, Brazil, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, The Netherlands, and last year’s winners from France

The Intesa Sanpaolo Nations Cup will stage on Friday afternoon (May 26).
