Piazza di Siena always features a plus in terms of value chain, media coverage, attendance on the grandstands around of the oval-shaped arena and the Galoppatoio. This edition that is about to finish today has once again produced record results in terms of steady growing numbers, thus showing that the Piazza di Siena CSIO is a winning and sustainable model. First and foremost, in terms of attendance: more than 56,000 spectators over four days (with a 12% increase compared to 2023), attracted not only by horses and their female and male riders, but also by the initiatives combining sport, art, music and culture; almost 600 horses involved, 202 riders, 30 countries represented in the series; a significant turnover up to 4.3 million euros (twice as much with respect to 2018).

An impressive global and digital media coverage: the competition obtained around 2.5 million views on the official social channels (+60% compared to 2023), almost 150,000 interactions (+58% compared to 2023) and over 66,000 followers (+15% vs. 2023); plus the great novelty of the TikTok channel with over 520,000 views reached in just a few days since the opening of the event. Rai2 and RaiSport broadcast the event, while live streaming on the piazzadisiena.it website obtained over 100,000 views. This type of communication through the new media has created a multiplier effect among young people, bringing them closer to sports, horses and healthier lifestyles.

As occurred since 2017, once the competition is over, Piazza di Siena will once again be available to the community: citizens, tourists, students and young people who will be able to spend some pleasant time on the oval-shaped arena turf to play sports, paint, study or perhaps lie down and look at the sky of Rome. The sky where the Italian AirForce Acrobatic Squad (Frecce Tricolori) put on a greatly appreciated show two days ago, symbolically flying towards the next edition, and to next records.
