The 91st edition of the Piazza di Siena - Master d'Inzeo CSIO of Rome comes with a prize money record, even higher than in past editions.

A total of 1,006,400 euros are up for grabs in the 10 categories envisaged in the programme of the Roman international jumping event.

The CSIO5* will start on Thursday, 23 of May, and will unfold over three more days of great and spectacular competitions.

Friday is indeed the day of the eagerly-awaited Intesa Sanpaolo Nations Cup with 220,000 euros’ worth of prize money.

Ten teams will vie across the courses laid out by Uliano Vezzani for a prestigious place in the roll of honour of this historical world-class challenge: Australia, Austria, Belgium, United Arab Emirates, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, the United States of America, Sweden and, of course, Italy.

However, pairs from other nations are expected to compete in Piazza di Siena, thus enhancing the high technical profile of the Saturday and Sunday categories.

Saturday will feature the challenging Loro Piana Trophy with a prize money of no less than 110,000 euro and the gripping and spectacular Loro Piana Six Bar.

On Sunday, 28 of May, the grand finale with the coveted Rolex Gran Premio Roma, again with no less than 500,000 euros’ worth of prize money.

Fifty starters will fight on the Piazza di Siena turf as of 12.30 p.m. in a race that alone is worth a whole career.
